Volcomヨーロッパの新しい動画シリーズ『Open Air』から、シェリル・マースのエピソードがアップした。
かつてトリノ五輪では、ハーフパイプの選手としても活躍したシェリル・マースは、オランダ出身のライダー。現在は、バックカントリーで活躍中。
小さい頃は、アムステルダムにある人工芝のスロープでスキーをしていたとのことだ。
また、シーズン始めには、コロラドのブリッケンリッジに行き、練習を開始。大きなジャンプはあまりやらずに、ナックル（キッカーのランディングの斜度変化部分）を使って360などでスタイルを磨いていく。

映像では、故郷アムステルダムのシーンや、ブリッケンリッジ、さらにはバックカントリーでのカッコいいトリックも紹介している。
