カナダで30年もの歴史を誇るウエア・ブランドのWestbeachがカナダのデジタル代理店Fudgeを組んで、新しいiPhoneアプリを開発し、来季リリースすることになった。
この共同開発には、Westbeachのカナダとイギリスのライダーが参加。
Westbeachのライダーは、世界中の山々はもちろん、シークレット・スポットも知っている。これからスノーボード・トリップに行く人たちの手助けとなるiPhoneアプリを作られるようだ。
Westbeach Developing New iPhone App
Westbeach has partnered with Canadian digital agency Fudge to create a new iPhone app that will launch at the start of 2010/11 season:
“Westbeach – the Canadian Snowboard original, have been designing snowboard clothing in their home town of Vancouver for more than 30 years. Westbeach can be found in the best snowboard shops around the world from Vancouver to Moscow, Tokyo and beyond.
The iPhone app, currently being developed by Fudge in partnership with Westbeach staff and riders in Canada and the UK, will launch for the start of the 2010/11 season.
Fred Royle, Westbeach CEO commented, “Our team have been riding the best mountains in the world for 30 years and we want to share this knowledge with our customers, the app will be our guide to how to get the best from your shred trip- the secret spots and the inside track, so that you get more bang for your buck.”
“The idea behind the Westbeach app is that we aren’t just rolling out feeds of snow reports or piste maps like a lot of apps on the market- we are offering users the chance to experience a snowboard trip, Westbeach style, from the minute you step off the plane,” said Ben Taylor, Client Services Director at Fudge.
