約一年前に練習中に頭部を強打し、外傷性の脳障害で重体となったケビン・ピアースは、五輪出場を断念しなくてはならなかった。
そして、今回行われたDew Tourで、初めてコンテスト会場に現れることになった。
「雪上に戻りたい。コンテストとか関係なくパウダーを滑りたい。」と語ったピアース。
誰よりもスノーボードを愛する男は、いつかきっとスノーボーディングする姿を見せてくれるに違いない。
