Reo Takahashi is the bonafied street sensei of Japan. Reo has been one of Japan’s top street snowboarders for quite some time, and in his tenure in the upper ranks of the urban snowboarding elite, he has made a name for himself sussing out unique and unridden spots with the tenacity of a bloodhound on the trail. The combination of his accomplished riding skills and his uncanny ability to locate interesting features has made Reo the go-to guide for many of snowboarding’s elite pros when they travel to Japan. Reo has logged clips with JP Walker and Simon Chamberlain, Chris Grenier, Scott Blum and Harrison Gordon, the Technine crew, the guys of Deja Vu, and this past winter spent plenty of time with The SNOWBOARDER crew. Regardless of what group of westerners for whom he’s facilitating travel and riding while in Japan, he’s quick to patiently collect his own shots and each season accumulates a heavy stack of clips. Reo’s 2015 video part is no different, and is one of his finest to date.
