adidas Snowboarding Collaborates With Capita for Japanese-Inspired Capsule Collection
adidas Snowboarding and Capita Snowboards has just announced a limited edition collection in partnership with medal-winning snowboarder Kazu Kokubo.
Inspired by his Japanese heritage, the collection incorporates the graphics found on Kokubo’s first Capita signature pro model board designed by tattoo artist Gangi of Three Tides Tattoo. Featuring a pair of Adi-Trek Capitas, the winterized skate shoe boasts a cozy fleece lining and a vulcanized outsole for precise board feel and increased outdoor grip. Additionally, a water-resistant gusseted tongue and EVA sockliner with a customized warrior graphic provide additional comfort and durability.
Rounding out the collection is the Capita Coaches Jacket – a monochromatic lightweight, water-resistant jacket with Kokubo’s signature bird logo on the back.
The adidas Snowboarding x Capita capsule collection will be available starting October 1 at specialty retailers in the U.S. and the adidas Snowboarding site. The Adi-Trek Capitas will retail for $90, while the Capita Coaches Jacket will retail for $95.
