Eighteen-year old Kyle Mack first competed in the Burton US Open as a seven-year old in the Junior Jam, eleven years later he’s on top. The 2-run final was the result of a weather postponement from earlier in the week. Kyle (89.75) earned his top score on his first run. He was in good company, followed by Eric Beauchemin (83.50), and Sebastien Toutant (80.95).
With her signature confidence and clean runs, Jamie Anderson earned her third straight Burton US Open Slopestyle Championship, and her fifth overall in the event. Due to weather earlier in the week the event was a 15-rider final with 2 runs each, as opposed to the traditional 6-rider, 3-run format. The final scores on the podium were: Anderson (86.86), Karly Shorr (80.40), Cheryl Maas (76.35).
