言わずと知れたYESを代表するライダーだ。
その山を攻める姿は、同チームの布施忠のように世界最高峰レベルで、また違った個性を持ちお互い光っている。
そんなDCPのこれまであまり知られていない姿を紹介する動画、『David Carrier Porcheron (DCP) – Blindside』が彼のスポンサー・マウンテンであるウィスラー、ブラッコムからアップされた。
この動画の中で、きれいな奥さんと二人の可愛い奥さんが登場。
しかし、この幸せそうな家族には、辛い出来事が。
なんと奥さんが乳がんになってしまうのである。
治る道はあった。しかし、その治すお金がなかった。そんな時、DCPのウィスラーの仲間が協力し合いボランティア・イベントを行う。
そこで、DCPでも信じられないようなサポートがあり、500万円以上もの寄付金が集まる。
晴れて、家族は再びウィスラーの山をエンジョイしてライディングできることに。
ウィスラーって本当に素晴らしいところだね。
