Ashbury Eyewearの生い立ちを紹介する動画、『How It All Began』がアップされた。
Ashburyが始まった頃には、プロダクトはなく、最初はブログ・スタイルのホームページがあるだけだった。
その後、サングラス作りに発展して行く。
当時は、ビデオ撮影などで、ゴーグルをしないライダーが多くて、それならサングラスを作ろうということになった。
そして、現在はご承知の通りゴーグルもリリースしているが、ゴーグルを始めるのにあたりこだわったのはシンプルさ。
他のブランドのような派手派手しいものとは逆に、シンプルであるがゆえのオイリーワンを求めたとのことだ。
