いよいよ、来週月曜日、ニュージーランドのカドローナ・スキー場にてワールドカップが開幕！
今季のFIS World Cupは、オリンピックの出場枠を決める重要な戦い。
特にオリンピックで初めて正式種目となったスロープスタイルには、大きな注目だ。
果たして夢の舞台に立てるのは誰だ！
8月18日（日）には、スロープスタイル予選、続く19日（月）には、スロープスタイル決勝。
8月22日（木）には、ハーフパイプ予選、そして１日空けて24日（土）には、ハーフパイプが開催される予定だ。
スロープスタイルでは、日本の期待を背負う若武者、角野友基も出場する！
トースタイン・ホグモ、マーク・マクモリスという世界の強豪が集結するこの大会で、どんな結果を残すことができるのか、ひじょうに楽しみな一戦。

Today saw the first training for the 2014 season’s FIS Snowboard World Cup opener at Cardrona, NZ. Staged at the Winter Games NZ, the Slopestyle event kicks off a winter full of excitement with the Olympics in Sochi as highlight.
No wonder, about 150 riders flew in to give it a shot in the first training session.
